Caring for animals
in Rhode Island
since 2008.
Angels began in West Warwick, when Animal Control Officer Lori Rivard started raising money for shelter animals whose medical needs went beyond routine care.
That work has grown. Today, Angels takes in surrendered animals, places cats and kittens in adoptive homes, supports fosters, and helps eligible Rhode Island pet owners with urgent veterinary costs.

Mavis needed a foster.
Someone said yes.
She was about nine days old when she was found alone in a field. A foster gave her the care and attention she needed to heal and grow.
Today, Mavis is thriving in her forever home. Having a foster available made her rescue possible.
